We process all complete and appropriate refill request within 3 business days of receipt of the request in our office, not including weekends or holidays. It is your responsibility to contact your pharmacy several days prior to running out of refills as we do not want you to run out of medications.
No controlled substance refills or new prescriptions will be authorized by the on-call provider.
If your insurance company requires a prior authorization for your medication, it may take them several days to respond to our request. After we submit a request we cannot hasten the process. If need be, you can opt to pay for a few days worth of medications and contact your insurance company for reimbursement after it has been given approval.
Our policy for missed or cancelled appointments is to charge $150 for follow up appointment $300 for a new patient evaluation, unless it is cancelled at least 48 business hours in advance. This charge is not billable to your insurance, and payment is your responsibility.
